Makers of game have never played canasta. Cant win with rules they have placed.

This game is a scam. Its impossible to actually play a turn. Dont buy.

It’s great to have a Canasta app with CLA rules, and we have been enjoying it quite a bit! I recommend this app to anyone who wants a Canasta app with CLA rules, but there is a learning curve and improvements could be made. I wanted to write here to point out a few recurring issues we have experienced with the app. Our main issue would have to be when a large amount of cards are picked up, because the cards are spread across too small of a width that they are no longer discernible. It would be great if the cards could spread across a wider amount of the screen so players could see all of the cards instead of guessing which ones might be there. A second issue we’ve been having is that newer players are often too slow to play with the default timer setting. It would be wonderful if there was an option to turn off the timer for this reason. I understand this could cause issues in play with strangers, so maybe it could only be allowed in password-protected games. A third is more of a suggestion, but it would be nice to drag cards to and from melds during a turn instead of always having to press undo. It is a much more natural interaction, and will allow players to put unintentionally melded cards back in their hands more easily. It would also allow players to move misplaced wild cards from one pile to another (everything is very small on the iPhone screen) without having to press the undo button, search for the cards in their hands again, and find a new places for the cards. Loved the game. Easy to play. Enjoying meeting players from all over. Have now played the updated version and that seems to eliminate any problems I had The game plays extremely well and I enjoy the modern canasta version of the Canasta League of America. The couple of glitches I had in version .3 are now fixed in the latest update. Some of the negative comments are from people not familiar with modern American canasta because these are the commonly played rules. Yes there are some minor variations but these can selected to play with Canasta Queen

Dont waste your money. I bought this and have not been able to play a game. Cant get into a game thats started and no one will join games I start. Waste of time and money. Avoid.

Its so refreshing to find a canasta game that plays with the real rules! Easy to navigate the program which has clear instructions and vibrant colors. Additional score feature is pretty neat. Helps you keep score with your physical card games.

This is so great. The app is fantastic. Its set up beautifully,and works very well. I just love it,with updates for apps it can only get better. Earlier negative comments are from people who have not played since the app was new. All apps have growing pains. You can even play with your own group or meet new people from all over. So worth the few dollars,hours of enjoyment.

This app is fantastic. Does it need work? Who doesnt. I play on this app every night. I am so addicted to it. Have met some of the nicest people from all over and enjoy the back and forth banter. Best of all I dont have to serve any snacks to my guests. Give the app a try, you wont regret it. Ill even let you join my Canadtaholics group.

Love this game but need a robots replace if person left

I have bought and played many canasta apps. This is the only canasta app that follows rule of "5", counts 7s and uses 3s correctly. Most other apps are for baby players. I commend the developers for creating a truly competitive game. A few bugs to work out but I highly recommend to beginners and experienced players. Would be nice to have a beginners area but we all remember when we first started.

Love the fact that I can play against the computer to sharpen my game. Plays by all the rules of the CLA! I keep getting disconnected but I think thats my connection, not the fault of the app. This app is my new Fav "guilty pleasure"

Im not sure if the computer you play as a partner is stupid or supposed to make mistakes but I had 6 8s and they placed a joker on a meld with 5 so we couldnt count our threes. Who makes the choices for the robots?

I purchased this game (the most expensive) I have ever bought. A huge-disappointment, the cards do not hook into the box when melding. I am very frustrated and feel like I threw $9.99 down the trash
