I’m done with this app after years of using it. It is worse than ever! It’s very obvious to an experienced player that the bot partner doesn’t know how to play, and the bot opponents know what’s in my hand. I don’t see any improvement with this new update.

It would be a great game if the computer partner would not do things even the most basic player would not. It throws all of its sevens when it has too many Aces that it should throw instead, resulting in a 1500 penalty. It occasionally does not meld even when it had the points to do so. It constantly throws cards causing the next player to pick the pack even when it has safe cards. It likes to throw what I throw- what’s safe for me to throw isn’t necessarily safe for my partner! It likes to put down a 5th card, preventing me from picking the pack. It doesn’t always pick the pack when it could get a 7s meld . I could go on. Developer- fix this!

The bot partner is still making errors. Not adding their cards to my hand to complete canastas. Opposite team gets waaay too many special hands, it’s ridiculous. Not fun.

I love the game but I’ve encountered issues that were not mentioned. If I pick up a “3” on the last draw it does not allow me to add it to my other 3s. Also, my partner put down 6 “7s” knowing/assuming that I had one, which was correct. However, the “game” would not allow me to add the 7th 7 to the meld. Additionally, my partner melded Kings and when the hand was completed he had 3 more kings in his hand. I can understand “sand-bagging” by holding 2 kings in their hand in an attempt to finesse a king out of the opponents hand but the opponent already melded 2 kings & a wild card accounting for all the kings.

I love this game and the only thing that might hold me back from playing is the bot partner. I thought after the update they get better but now there are new issues. It gets rid of 7s when there is no need to, but keeps them even after I picked up the entire pile and it is apparent how many 7s I am holding on to. Or it runs out of cards without asking right after I picked up the pile and obviously have 5 sevens in my hand. It’s too annoying.

I've been playing on Canasta Junction since it's beginning Today I can't open it. It has a message to me that I don't understand I need help. I am supposed to play tomorrow January 27 Help please!!!!

Since the pandemic I have been using canasta junction. About a month ago, it stopped working in various locations. It’s impossible to get it to work. And I just tried to download the newest version and it won’t let me. So, please cancel my membership, as it’s not allowing me to play. Please credit me since I paid in full.thank you, Carolsully

I really enjoy playing this game, but the game is in a funk because the winning games are favoring the APP again. I keeping coming back and trying the game….but the computer wins most of the time, and it becomes boring.

Would someone please teach my BOT partner how to play the game?? Especially when the BOT 1 & 3 obviously know what is in each others hands AS WELL AS what is in MY hand! My BOT partner constantly dumps all its 7s in the first 2 hands and ends with none— ever! and when we are in a 155 or 180 count game it holds 4, 5, & 6’s…how stupid!!! Drives me batty🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯.

I play the Solitaire version. Robot 2 needs to be reprogrammed. Almost every hand, Robot 2 throws a card that allows robot 3 to pick the pile; many times more than once per hand. I think Robot 2 does not know how to play the game. It makes so many mistakes. It picks the pile with 1 card left and only lays 3 cards, then gets stuck with Aces and sevens. Robot 2 leads with a 7 so I think it’s telling me it will keep 7’s but it doesn’t keep them. I can’t trust Robot 2.

Nearly impossible to use on iPhone, only slightly better on iPad, Canasta Junction uses hard-to-read fonts in too small sizes with a terrible layout of cards, a horrible color scheme, and a quirky UI. So much space is wasted for no reason, and as a consequence your hand is smashed onto the very bottom of the screen with tiny little cards. And, why do you need to drag the drawn card all the way down into your hand?

I keep seeing the same criticism re the robot play in the solitaire game with no improvement. My partner will often pick the pack and get stuck with aces and sevens in hand when we were already winning. Wild card hands are played late in the game with no hope of winning with that hand. Other times my partner could have easily opened but neglected to do so. It is very frustrating!

The app has been slow to open since the last update 3 weeks ago. And today it has simply refused to open! Please fix this bug!

Please release update!

Ever since I downloaded the update it takes way too long for the app to load and sometimes it never does. I don’t understand what’s going on very unhappy customer. When I pay for an app, I expect it to be Top and I don’t know why this is not.

All day the app won’t load. I deleted it and reinstalled. Wont open

I have played Canasta all over the world and these are the weirdest rules I have ever seen. They are like someone who has actually never played canasta just made them up. The interface does work pretty well. We played with two friends in another state but the rules are to different from canasta for us to continue using the app. Plus their rules were just not fun to play.

You will lose 95% of the time. Robot partner keeps all the sevens and aces at the end, so you are heavily penalized!

Has happened four times now in the past couple of days. My bot partner keeps picking up the pile with only a few cards left and the deck has multiple As and 7s. We get 3000 point deduction. I’m an experienced player on the app. Something is wrong with the partner bot.

How come the computer can pick up an ace and take the pile and put down 7 aces but I cannot pick up an ace

The robot seems to use strategies that are impossible to counter because it is not the natural type of human play that involves mistakes, and luck of the draw. The robot uses its complete control of the game and cards to predetermine that it will win regardless of how good you play or how poorly you play. The ODDS ARE STACKED AGAINST YOU AND ITS WORSE THAN A CASINO BECAUSE ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO WIN. BEFORE THE USE OF AI THERE WERE POSSIBILITIES TO WIN, NOW THE ROBOT OPENS UP WITHIN 5 SECONDS OF THE START AND GETS CANASTAS IMMEDIATELY. IF THIS OCCURRED OCCASIONALLY THEN IT WOULD BE NORMAL, BUT NOT EVERY TIME EVERY GAME. I WILL NOT BE PART OF THIS CHARADE IF THIS PROBLEM CONTINUES. REMEMBER FOLKS: AI IS NOT GOD. ITS ALL ABOUT WHO PROGRAMS THIS FEATURE. ITS EXTREMELY BORING NOW….DISCONNECTING

Incorrectly adds meld points and doesn’t recognize certain specials. Last version was better.

Why, for the past two nights has the game networked? It says not connected to Internet. And it’s just snapped me that it says that. Two of my friends alsoI’m getting the same pop-up box. What’s going on?

Have not been able to play on my iPhone in a couple of weeks.. I’ve tried everything.. nothing is working.. I am the only person paying and it’s not working.. please fix it and refund my money..

Ever since the last update, I’ve been promoted to make an account and I haven’t been able to do that. After plugging in all I formation it tells me there is an error and to try again later. It’s been a month! I sent an email and never heard from anyone. How disappointing - loved this game.

When I try to play on my phone, it asks me to register, but then it says that it’s not available. Help!

I’ve been enjoying this app for several years and while not perfect, the game play was quite good. Since the last update however, I’ve been unable to log back in or even create a new login. So sadly it’s become unplayable for me.

I updated my APP as suggested and I CANNOT sign in or CREATE a new account! It continually says “An error occur. Please try later!” This has been going on for over a week! How much later am I supposed to try!

Haven’t been able to play so I cannot give a review. Several of my friends are also locked out

Can’t log on since the update

I’ve updated my account t and now I can no longer access my app. I’ve tried setting up new account t and it won’t let me. I don’t know old username and it won’t let me back in. Please advise. Not sure why they have to keep updating as it was working fine but now I cannot use. Sad

Updated the app yesterday on my iPhone. Since then, it won’t let me play solitaire which is all I do. I tried to set up an account and it won’t let me

Every since I’ve updated I can’t get on to play. No way to talk to anyone to fix problem. Communicating by email. Keep telling me it’s fixed and it’s not. I have to figure out how to get my money back. This has been going on for 2 days. I’ve been playing on this app consistently since COVID. With no problems. Loved it So sorry I ever did this newest update. My friends who did not update are having no problems playing

Playing “Solitaire” against the computers to figure out game play is impossible. The hand seizes up both when draw deck is gone AND when I draw from discard to make my any meld. When you draw from the discard (and yes I had 3 cards), made it to my initial meld requirement the discard deck does not “jump” into my hand as described in FAQ. I’ve played 6 hands with same issues. Canceling immediately. Don’t waste your money. You can’t pick multiple cards to meld at once, each must be dragged individually. Awful! And, when I went to cancel my 1 month free subscription that was downloaded today, I had been billed for 1 year. I only played in solitaire which is supposedly free but I could not access game without the free trial. Have contacted the developer. Will update with there response.

I just updated and now it says i need to sign in. I have never had to sign in. I thought maybe i forgot my sign in and password but so far you have not sent me a password reset email. I thought maybe i need to register but that came up as an error. I have been usig this app for a few years and enjoy it. I spent money for it. I now cannot do a thing. Fix this!

Updated to new version and cannot log in. Keeps saying try later.

Just want to get back in and play Solitaire. Communication with app Support is basically talking to a robot. There is no personal communication. Tried to update to new app today and still can’t access on iPad. Support responses are worthless. Worst support I’ve ever encountered.

Tried to update to 4.9. Keeps saying that email was sent to update password, but no mail received. Tried to start new account, but wouldn’t let me. Just said error. Try again later.

Can’t login, or even create new account. Error message is “An error occurred. Please retry later”. Please fix!

Robot 1 melded on their turn with 125 points and then proceeded and discarded a wild card (2). I don’t think that is allowed but I might be wrong.

I enjoy playing this game but as a Solitaire player against the computer I feel like the cards aren’t distributed evenly from the draw deck. Most of the time, I get a 4, 5, or 6, which isn’t realistic and makes playing not as much fun. I don’t feel the cards are random.

I subscribed to canasta junction recently. I used to play with other canasta apps, but the rules on those are usually for classic canasta, very confusing… learned about this app after taking a canasta cruise with the American League. Now I can play online with the people I met on the ship!
